Join us for our 4th annual 5K and 1 mile Fun-Run Thanksgiving morning! All proceeds benefit Bright Sky Ministry, an organization dedicated to providing essentials to Oklahoma foster families.
This year's race will be bigger and better than ever with a new t-shirt and medal design! We have also made some updates to our race day based on feedback from our past events.
We are excited to announce the launch of our Fundraiser Platform.
When you register for a race, please be sure to sign up to become a Fundraiser and help raise money for Bright Sky Ministry and foster children across the state of Oklahoma. The more money you raise, the more prizes you win! Prizes include a registration refund, branded swag, Amazon gift cards, AirPods, and the Grand prize is an Apple Watch Series 7!

INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19:
We consider the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and community to be of utmost importance. We will be offering a virtual race option again this year in the event you cannot make the race in person or feel more comfortable participating elsewhere!

Bright Sky Ministry's Mission: To provide essentials to foster and kinship families in need in Oklahoma
In 2021, Bright Sky Ministry assisted over 800 children in obtaining the essential items they needed, including car seats, beds, mattresses, diapers, formula, personal hygiene items, and clothing. We purchase these items new and ship them all across the state of Oklahoma. This has proven extremely beneficial to families who live in rural towns and/or are underserved by local resources. In 2022, we continue to grow and are on track to assist over 1,500 foster children with essentials. We will purchase over $200,000 worth of essential items to ship directly to foster families.
A donation of $150 provides one foster child with the essentials they need to feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
In order to meet the continued increase in need, our fundraising goal for 2022 is $250,000. We need to raise $30,000 at the 2022 Turkey Trot to help meet this goal! We can only do this with your help and generosity! Make a difference in a foster child's life.
